PESSAT Eligibility Criteria 2017

PESSAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria refers to the requirements which a candidate should meet in order to be eligible to take PESSAT 2017. Before applying for PESSAT 2017, all aspirants must carefully go through the eligibility criteria of PESSAT 2017.

In order to appear for PESSAT 2017, the candidates should have obtained atleast 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th class or equivalent.


 

PESSAT Application Form 2017

The application form of PESSAT 2017 is available now, from September 21, 2016. Candidates from outside Bengaluru can fill up the application form till April 10, 2017, while the last date for candidates in Bengaluru is April 17, 2017. In order to fill up the application form, the aspirants have to first register themselves using their course, gender, date of birth, email ID, etc. Already registered candidates have to make the application fee payment for PESSAT 2017 by entering their registration number, gender and date of birth.


PESSAT Exam Pattern 2017

PESSAT 2017 Exam Pattern tells about various important aspects of PESSAT 2017 like time duration of the exam, type of questions asked, format of the exam, mode of the exam, total number of question, marking scheme, subjects included, topic-wise question distribution, etc.

 

PESSAT 2017 will have questions from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics of 11th and 12thstandards (CBSE questions). Apart from PCM, the test will also have 20 questions from English grammar. PESSAT 2017 question paper for B.Tech will have 70 per cent questions from 12thsyllabus, while 30 per cent will be from 11th standard syllabus.


 

 

PESSAT Admit Card 2017

PESSAT Admit Card 2017 will be available tentatively in the third week of April 2017. The admit card of PESSAT 2017 can be downloaded by the registered candidates after booking their exam slots. In order to download PESSAT 2017 admit card, candidates have to enter their registration number and email ID (the same email ID with which the candidate has registered during the application process). 

 

PESSAT 2017 admit card will carry important information like name, photograph, roll number & signature of the candidate, exam venue, exam time, date of the exam, etc.


 

PESSAT Exam Centres 2017

PESSAT Exam Centres are the venues where the candidates will be taking the entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes available at the university. PES University will conduct PESSAT 2017 across different test centres in different states of India on different dates. In 2016, the university had conducted the entrance exam across 34 exam centres of PESSAT 2017.   


 

PESSAT Result 2017

PESSAT result 2017 will tentatively be announced by PES University in the last week of May 2017. Through the result of PESSAT 2017, the examinees will be able to see their scores and ranks. In order to check their result, they have to enter their registration number and date of birth. Admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes available at the university will be done through 2 rounds of counselling of PESSAT 2017.  



PES University, Bangalore will conduct PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) 2016 for admitting students to various undergraduate engineering programmes at the university in the month of May 2016. Aspiring candidates, who aspire to get admission in the university, need to qualify PESSAT 2016. The entrance exam will be conducted online across several cities of India.

PESSAT 2016 Application Procedure:

Aspiring candidates have to register themselves and fill up the Application Form of PESSAT 2016, in order to be eligible for the further procedure of the exam.

PESSAT 2016 Fee Payment mode:

The Fees for PESSAT 2016 can be paid in 3 modes:

  1. Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking

  2. Challan

  3. Demand Draft

Payment through Challan:

  • The applicants need to print both application form and challan, carry both to bank for payment. Submit hard copy of application along with copy of stamped challan.

Payment through DD:

  • The candidate can pay the PESSAT 2016 Exam fee through Demand Draft  in Favor of “PES University General Fund” payable at Bangalore . Applicants have to procure DD from the bank, enter DD details in the space provided online and send along with printed application form at the below given address:

PESSAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants need to fulfill the below mentioned criteria, if they wish to appear in PESSAT 2016 Test and seek admission at PES University UG engineering programmes.  

  • In order to appear for PESSAT 2016, the candidate is required to have scored 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Standard or equivalent.

  • Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the test score and personal interview.

 

PESSAT 2016 Exam Pattern:

PESSAT 2016 Exam Pattern gives a clear idea to the aspirants of the exam to understand the marking system, subject and topic distribution etc. 
 

Section 1:

Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics - 11th class and 12th class CBSE questions

70% of the questions will be from 12th class CBSE

30% of the questions will be from 11th class CBSE

PESSAT Counselling 2017

PESSAT 2017 counselling will be conducted in 2 rounds by PES University.
