JEE Main 2020 April Exam Postponed: JEE Main 2020 April Exam has been postponed, as ordered by the MHRD due to the COVID-19 outbreak. NTA i.e. National Testing Agency will announce revised dates for JEE Main 2020 Exam after 31st March 2020, as confirmed by a senior official. Later in the night, NTA also published a detailed report confirming the news that the JEE Main 2020 April exam has been postponed and revised dates for the same will be declared by the apex testing agency soon. In line with this announcement the JEE Main Admit Cards 2020 which were to be released on 20th March 2020 will also be issued only after revised dates are announced.
April Exam Dates Postponed to Avoid Clash with CBSE Board Exams
According to sources, although JEE Main 2020 exam was to be held in April on 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th April 2020; the exam has been postponed keeping in mind the rescheduling of CBSE Board Exam 2020 due to COVID-19. Many students from science stream who are appearing for CBSE 12th Board Exam would also be appearing for JEE Main Engineering Entrance Test 2020. To avoid this clash of both these exams, the NTA has decided to postpone the examination to a later date.

In addition to issuing the notification, the NTA has also launched a helpline where candidates who are registered for JEE Main 2020 April exam can connect with exam authorities to resolve their queries, if any. JEE Main aspirants can connect at Helpline Number - 0120-6895200 for any further clarification. In addition to this, NTA will be releasing timely news and updates related to JEE Main 2020 Exam on its exam portals jeemain.nta.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in. Students and parents are advised to keep visiting these portal to get official notification and news.
